I would like to see most of the red disappear, particularly in the dark gray areas. I don't even try to read it because it strains my eyes. The larger white areas would be better in something easier on the eyes, too.

I think that the content on this site is pretty good but alot of people doesn't know about it, but the theme is probably needs to be changed in particular the black, it kinda brings down the mood.

As far as a tip goes , what I would do to improve the site would be to increase the amount of
advices and chit chat about sexual intercourse and how to approach men and women.
This is important because Young adults at this age begin the part of their life , where they experience sexual feelings and emotions.
If not , the site can be improved by putting more shine onto the website's layout – such as making it more colorful and attractive to the young adults. What would be nice would be , adding a video on the homepage to promote the site or bring news to the young adults.

My suggestion for your site is to revamp the site's header. Move the links for the rss, feedburner and twitter to the left, center the logo and set the searchbox under the date. Then take the two black link bars and combine them under the header.
Having only the one balck line should brighten the page. Then change the category links to different colored tabs and have the linked pages match the tab colors. That way the home page could retain its current feel, but the subjects themselves would look different and new.

As for some tips on improving Twentieslife, I highly suggest you create a platform where your visitors can discuss various topics with each other. Yes, a forum shall do it. And also, you can create a sidebar just like the one you did with “Recent Posts” for recent comments. That way, readers can keep tract of newest comments made by others and respond if they like to. Furthermore, you can get rid of the “Categories” side bar because you already have them as headers on the top. It seems to me to be a bit redundant. And if you can help it, you should try to recruit more young bloggers to your site or be more open about guest authors. Of course, you should not sacrifice content for mere more posts. So far, I have found every post to be quite comprehensive and of high quality. Keep up the good work.

Suggestion: To merge the News highlights and Latest News section and create a linear vertical latest news section that gives the subject/title and a small blurb of the article. If the reader wants more information they can click the link but if not they can keep scrolling. This allows for an easy way to know the articles that have come out in chronological order and also knowing when to stop if they have already previously been reading stuff from the site.

As for a tip on how to improve the site, I think it is a great site already. My only suggestion is that is that there is so much information on the home page, the first time I visited, I was overwhelmed with what to read. I would lose either the popular posts or recent posts as a start.
